Arthur DeFever, Naval Architect, is the man who rightfully earned credit for creating the cruising yacht designs we commonly call trawlers today. Since 1939, Mr. DeFever has drawn boats that are sea kindly, comfortable and pleasing to the eye. His distinctive designs can often be found in foreign ports of call and are spotted in remote anchorages around the globe. With literally thousands of designs to his credit, Arthur DeFever is frequently honored for his enormous contribution to yacht design in general and trawler design specifically. Working out of his offices in San Diego , CA , he has recently completed some new designs for POCTA.
